Description A most unusual and pretty villa that is set within the grounds of a farm estate. If you are looking for tranquillity and a unique setting then this villa is for you. The villa is set in amongst the orchards and in the summer and autumn months walking in the 11 acre grounds is a sheer pleasure. Lemons famous in Sicily abound here and the blossom in the spring is really something to see. The front of the villa opens out onto the trees and to the side there is a seating /patio area where you can enjoy the beautiful roses in the summer months alongside the peace and tranquillity whilst having perhaps enjoying an ice cold Italian beer. Alongside the patio there is an outside shower and antique wood oven. The ground floor has ample space for a large family and can accommodate up to 8 people. The kitchen although small is sufficiently organised and there is a bathroom with shower and toilet. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with views toward the sea and then a further roof terrace where you can sunbathe or just take in the magnificent views of the orchards below. The villa owners are usually around  to greet you and they are most kind in letting you pick some lemons for a perhaps Un buon gin tonic. There is a private access for the car down a driveway which has a lockable gate and the villa owners are more than happy for you to wander around the villa orchards where you will find many beautiful plants also. For those looking for a villa holiday rental which is a mixture of Sea and Mountain, this is very much a local experience holiday and a bit of a gem set in a truly lovely location. Please note: The orchards are large areas that are wild in the summer months and although not dangerous at all there are grass snakes throughout Sicily. You may also see lots of other wild beasties.  It is pefectly safe for children to roam freely but please respect the farm fruit and olives.  The owners also have a bicycle which is available for rental on request. A car is strongly recommended. The local town known as San Nicola is just 1.5 km away and in the summer time can be very busy around the port area.
