When Rob first came to Sicily he fell in love with the relaxed way of life, the welcoming people and the amazing scenery.  It only seemed natural that he should stay and form Sicilian Gems with Debs.

Trained as a Civil Engineer and worked as a Construction Site Manager in the UK and abroad, works included the construction of the Jubilee Line Extension ( London, UK ), the Dublin Port Tunnel ( Dublin, Ireland ), Temporary Field Accomodation erection for the British Army ( Kosovo ) and various smaller contracts in the North West of England.

Experienced walker and outdoor enthusiast Rob has over 20 Years of hill walking experience coupled with a love of the Sicilian Countryside and looks forward to sharing this with you on guides walks in the mountains which are now his home.  This local knowledge will ensure that you experience the beauty of the Sicilian countryside first hand.

As a trained emergency First Aider you will be in good hands with Rob who has also been a Safety and Training officer for Loughborough University Speleogical ( Caving ) Team in the past before coming to Sicily.

Last but not least is Baggi, Il Gatto Nero ( the black cat ) who keeps us company at home.  He has come to love Sicily and loves nothing better than gathering up the local wildlife and presenting it to us.
