Taste Evening at Ai Templari Hotel

Set in the centre of the historical town of Polizzi Generosa is the Old Castle Hotel of Ai Templari, Here within the old wine cellar we can enjoy a delightful evening of wine, song and typical local fare.

We start the evening with a warm welcome from the team and a plethora of different Italian wines including of course the indigenous grapes of Sicily.

With the help of Deborah from Sicilian Gems and Santino the Hotelier you will be guided through the many delicious red and white wines, sometimes including a delicious rose.

Along with the touch screen wine TV, we also have little wine quizzes and the winner gets a glass or two of there choice.
The explanation of the history of wine in Sicily is imparted along with some interesting little stories of local interest.

Accompanied with the wine will be tasty stuzzi (locally known as light bites) these compliment the different wines we taste and of course are simply delicious taken alone.

There is sometimes a local Sicilian band playing later in the evening and along with the ambience of the surroundings it all makes for a very jolly and informative evening.

This excursion is recommended only for adults and dependant on the clients can continue late on into the evening.

Tour runs from May- September.
