Description This beautiful Sicilian house is set overlooking the gulf of Cefalu and the mountains of the Madonie. A very well laid out property with amazing views of the country side and sea locations, its furnishings are simple and elegant with plenty of space for a party or family. The ideal solution to the hot Sicilian summers this house is based on the hillside up from the bay of Lascari and in the summer months is cooler giving you a break from the searing sun. Inside the property is laid out on 2 levels with the main facilities being on the ground floor. There is ample dining space and many of the rooms open directly out onto the terraces. A well established garden gives way to the wild landscapes of the Madonie Mountains and in the spring you can still find the tops are covered with snow. From here with a car you can access most areas and the beach is just a 15 minute ride away, whilst still being in the tranquil setting you will not miss the madding crowds in the summer months. One of the highlights of staying in Casa Basalaci is being on the roof terrace to enjoy the breath taking views of the coast and hills and you will be rewarded with a 360: degree view of the surrounding area. A house for all the family to enjoy, one which will bring you back time and again. This house is situated in a very tranquil spot which you can enjoy all the year round, whilst all the time still being on the doorstep of all the wonderful sites of the north coast. Note: (In the hot summer months we ask kindly that you respect the lack of water on the island and not to leave taps and showers running for long periods as this house has a well which can run dry).
